Abel is known for their high-quality machine work, and classic design merged with modern innovations. This features aerospace-grade aluminum with a black high gloss anodized finish with a walnut handle. The cork drag is smooth and strong. A couple of inconsequential marks on the edge of the rear frame barely show even when photographed. Reel weighs 7.75 oz. (8.7 oz. on my scale with backing).
