British Foreign Service - Zulu War Pith Helmet Wholesale Pack fisherman This is the Freeport FedoraThis white pith helmet is designed to be an historically accurate replica of that worn by the 24th RoF in the Anglo Zulu War of 1879. It is made from trees grown in the northern part of Vietnam. The material can sustain heavy sunlight as well as rain. When wet the hat may become a bit softer, but then dries to its original state. The Vietnamese learned the art of pith helmet manufacturing a hundred years ago from the French during their occupation.
